Day Three of Stir Up The Gifts Challenge: The Prophetic Anointing
Day 3 DevotionalÂ
Welcome to Day Three, we will be diving into The Prophetic Anointing!Â
“And Jesus said, somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me” Luke 8:46 KJV
I am finding out that God is always ready. I know there are seasons and times and different moves of God, but I also know there are many people who have always spoken before their time. An example of this would be Bishop Charles Mason, founder of the Church of God in Christ.
Bishop Mason flowed in some heavy things. He was so many years ahead of the Church of God in Christ. He was signing in tongues and signing in the spirit before miracles occurred, while most people had not gone beyond clapping and dancing. Smith Wigglesworth raised people from the dead. These men always seemed out of place. They would always get into the flow of something before others did. It’s good to have the move of God come into a city. It is good to have the timing of God when the Spirit of God says it is time to move.
However, when you press into the prophetic move of God, when you stir that up, when you flow, God is not going to withhold something from you just because others are not ready to accept it.
