Welcome to Day Four, we will be talking about Spiritual Warfare & Deliverance!Â
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the God of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
Deliverance comes from the Greek word aphesis G859 which means freedom, forgiveness, liberty, remission. The message of deliverance must be preached in order for freedom to manifest. The anointing is needed to free people from bondage and captivity. Gifts don’t destroy yokes, but the anointing does.
The message of deliverance is the message of light. Demons are creatures of darkness. Their influence and authority over humans thrives in darkness.
Demons of lust, deception, pride and anger for example can be expose and sometimes driven out of people through teaching which reveal how they operate and what they do in and through those under their control and influence.
We are mandated to reprove darkness. Reprove means to rebuke or cast out. We are authorized by God to rebuke and cast out devils. This is a powerful truth because it further shows us how we are to deal with darkness.
